Poultry Feeds

All of our chicks and chickens are vaccinated against coccidiosis, Marek’s disease and fowl pox. Because of this, they must be fed unmedicated feed only. Medicated feed interferes with the coccidiosis vaccination and can make the birds unwell, so please avoid it. To make things easy, Sammy keeps 3kg bags of unmedicated chick starter and pullet grower at the farm office, so you can pick up the right feed for your new birds when you collect them.
