New Hampshire sexed females, from day old through to point of lay. Order 20 or more of the same age and save $15 to $25 on every bird. We hatch around 800 sexed females every week, so we can keep you supplied.
Wholesale price list
Wholesale pricing applies to orders of 20 or more birds of the same age group. The twenty cannot be made up of a mix of ages. All prices are per bird, for sexed females. Prices shown exclude GST, with the GST-inclusive figure underneath.

Every bird is a sexed female. Vent sexing is around 90% accurate, so the occasional rooster does slip through. If one does, we replace it with a female. Prices are current as at July 2026.
Why New Hampshires sell
If you stock laying hens, the New Hampshire is an easy bird to sell and an easy bird to keep on hand. It is a purebred heritage breed, which puts it in a different category from the commercial hybrids most outlets carry.
- Early to lay. One of the earlier-maturing heritage breeds, so point-of-lay stock moves quickly.
- Large brown eggs. Consistent size and colour, which is what customers ask for.
- Calm to handle. Good-natured birds are easier for your staff and better for families.
- Built for Queensland. A practical farm bird that copes with the heat and forages well.
- Lays for years, not months. Heritage hens keep producing well after hybrids have dropped off.
- Purebred, breeds true. A genuine point of difference from the hybrid layers on every other shelf.

That is the part most small breeders cannot offer. Because we hatch to a weekly cycle, we can hold a standing order rather than leaving you to chase stock whenever a customer asks.

Sexed females, guaranteed
Every wholesale bird is vent sexed as a female before it leaves us. Vent sexing is around 90% accurate, which is the honest industry figure, so occasionally a rooster gets through.
If that happens, we replace it with a female. No argument, no paperwork. You are not left carrying a bird you cannot sell.
Vaccinated before they leave us
Every bird is vaccinated for Marek’s disease, coccidiosis and fowl pox, so what arrives with you is already protected against the three your customers are most likely to ask about.
